It started as our own board.

The idea

I've always had a lot going on in my head.
Ideas. Plans. Things to remember. Things I might want to do someday.

For years, I tried to organise it properly. Notebooks. Notes apps. To-do lists. Folders.
And the same thing kept happening. I put something away, and it disappeared.
Not because it was gone. Because I couldn't see it anymore.

What always worked was much simpler. A desk covered in notes. Post-its on a wall.
Not perfectly organised. Just visible.
That became the idea behind PAPEPPE. Everything in sight.

Then it spread.

I built it for me. Then Jolanda started using it.
The shopping list. A photo shoot. Our trips. Everything on one board.

Friends saw it and asked what we were using. They started using it at home.
Then some of them took it to work, with their own teams.

That was the sign. This should not stay on our phones.

Why PAPEPPE?

PA stands for Personal Assistant. Peppe is what friends have called me since I was young.
So PAPEPPE became the name for the assistant I actually wanted. One that keeps everything in view, so I can keep thinking.

And we're only getting started.

PAPEPPE is intentionally simple. We want it to stay that way.
New ideas should not automatically become new features. Often they should become a better card, a better template, or a better way of using what's already there.

So if something feels brilliant, or annoying, tell us. That's how it gets better.
